Positive Teaching Produces Positive Results Lessons Designed to Fit Your Child
After beginning piano at age 6, I continued to study music at State University of New York at Fredonia. I completed the teacher training and piano pedagogy program at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. In addition to teaching for the past 23 years, I was an OMTA Ribbon Festival judge, and accompanied for auditions and solo ensembles around NE Ohio. Building self-esteem, and playing musically is very important to me. We hold an annual Spring Recital locally.

"Marcia taught my daughters not only how to read music, but to fully understand music as an art. They played with excellent technique, and learned about composers and various styles of music. Marcia's actions, words and deeds taught my girls the value of commitment, responsibility, integrity and compassion. Her kindness allowed my girls to take risks with their music without the fear of failure. Marcia will help your child explore and nurture the art of piano, and this is a rare and extraordinary gift"... TD Mother of two daughters who took piano for up to 12 years
